Web & mobile engineering studio · part of VACLIC

Most Moroccan websites are assembled.
Yours will be engineered.

We build websites, web applications and mobile apps on the latest technology stack — chosen for your project, not for our convenience. No plugin stacks. No page builders. No licence treadmill. Real software, and the repository is yours on day one.

Contractual targets we commit to before work starts — not averages from past work. If a build misses them, we fix it before you pay the final instalment.

The problem nobody tells you

You were sold a website. You were given a liability.

Almost every "custom" site sold in Morocco is the same thing underneath: a CMS theme you didn't choose, thirty plugins nobody audits, and a hosting bill that quietly grows. It works on launch day. Then the plugins conflict, the page weight triples, a vulnerability lands in one of them, and the agency that built it quotes you to fix what it chose.

We don't build that. We write the application, we keep the dependency list short enough to read, and we hand you the source. If you ever leave us, you leave with everything.

!

What a plugin stack actually costs you

  • 30–60 third-party dependencies you never approved
  • Annual licence renewals for features you use once
  • Page weight of 4–8 MB and a Lighthouse score in the 30s
  • Every plugin is somebody else's security patch schedule
  • No repository, no exit — you rent your own website
✓

What engineered software gives you

  • A dependency list short enough to audit in an afternoon
  • No licences, ever — you own what we wrote
  • Performance budget enforced in the build pipeline
  • Security patched by us, on our own infrastructure
  • Full Git history handed over at launch
Why Recode

Six things we do that most agencies can't

⌘

We own the infrastructure

Recode is part of VACLIC — an ANRT-accredited .ma registrar running its own autoscaling cloud. Most agencies resell someone else's hosting and forward your ticket. We build it, host it and answer for it under one contract.

$

Our prices are public

Every competitor in this market hides pricing behind "contact an expert" so they can read your budget before quoting. Ours is on the pricing page. You'll know within thirty seconds whether we're in your range.

⚡

Performance is a contract term

Not a claim in a sales deck — a number in the statement of work, measured on your real content, with a remedy if we miss it. Ask any other studio to put their Lighthouse score in writing.

⎔

You get the repository

Full Git history, deployment scripts, environment documentation. Transferred at launch, not held hostage. The most common reason clients come to us is that nobody will give them their own code.

⚖

Moroccan law, Moroccan data

Your contract is governed by Moroccan courts and your data can stay on Moroccan infrastructure, CNDP-declared and GDPR-ready. When an offshore team disappears, you have no recourse. With us you have a jurisdiction.

◎

Built to be found by AI, too

Search is splitting between Google and assistants like ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. We structure content and schema so your business is parseable and quotable by both — most sites built today are invisible to the second one.

Proof, not adjectives

Every agency says "fast". Test one of them.

This page is built the same way we build yours — no frameworks, no plugin stack, nothing loaded from a third party. Run Google's own tool against it right now, then run it against the site of anyone else you're considering. It takes about thirty seconds and settles the argument.

Your PageSpeed report goes here

Run pagespeed.web.dev on recode.ma once it is live, export the result, save it as assets/img/pagespeed-recode.png and swap this frame for the image. A real screenshot next to a live test link is the single most persuasive block on this page.

We put the same number in your contract. If a build we deliver misses the agreed target measured on your real content, we fix it before the final instalment is due — which is why no competitor in this market will write it down.

What a Recode project looks like

The layout below is live and final. The three projects in it are illustrative examples showing the structure — replace them with real work before launch.

E-commerce
sample

Example — multi-warehouse retail platform

Replace with a real project: what was broken, what you built, what changed. Two or three sentences is enough.

—Load time

Mobile app

Example — field service app, iOS & Android

Replace with a real project. Metrics below are the three numbers a buyer cares about most.

Example — legacy CMS rebuild with rankings kept

Replace with a real rebuild. Before-and-after numbers are the most persuasive content on this page.

—Speed gain
—Rankings held
—Hosting saved
sample — replace with a real, permissioned quote

“Placeholder testimonial. Ask a client for two sentences about the one thing that changed for their business, then put their real name, role and company here. Unattributed quotes do not convert.”

The stack

The latest stack — chosen for your problem, not our habit

We work on current, actively maintained technology — and the specific choice follows your problem rather than our habits. One consideration outranks the rest: whoever maintains this in 2031 has to be hirable in Morocco. That rules out the fashionable and the exotic alike.

What we won't do is start from a page builder and call it engineering.

Straight answers

The questions you're actually asking

Because that quote is for a theme installation, and ours is for software. At 6 000 MAD nobody can write original code, test it, make it fast and support it — the maths doesn't work. What you get instead is a template with plugins, which is a legitimate product for some businesses and a trap for others. If a brochure site is genuinely all you need, take the cheap quote with our blessing. If the site or app carries your revenue, the cheap version is the expensive one: you pay again in eighteen months, and you pay twice because the rebuild has to undo the first attempt.
